Dayton King (Chanda) - Guest Services / Expansion Project

Before meeting my bride, I lived as an agnostic. I didn’t NOT believe in God, but I wasn’t saved and never attended church while growing up. In 2008, my family and I started attending a nondenominational church. I remember connecting with a message that the pastor gave about being a better husband, father, and friend. It was then that I realized that I needed a Savior, not a religion. I have been attending CrossRoads Community Church for five years with my wife, Chanda, and our two children - Cayden (13) and Isabelle (11). In addition to serving to serving in the role of deacon, I have taken the lead on our expansion project! We are excited to see how God moves in the next chapter at C3!

Tim O'Brien (Marlaina) - Financial Administrator

I grew up going to church and learned from a young age that Jesus took the punishment for my sins on the cross. As I got older, I became more involved in sports and drifted away from church. When I met my wife, Marlaina, we struggled to decide if we would raise our future children in the church. About six months after our wedding, I brought my wife on a business trip where we attended a large church with some friends. There I heard the full gospel message and decided to commit my life to Christ and to follow Him forever. Since then, we have had two beautiful daughters - Calli Ann (6) and Colbie Joy (1). As a family, we have grown stronger each day that we follow Christ. We were invited to CrossRoads about a year after they opened. I’m not really sure how it happened, but 9+ years later, my family and I are fully invested and couldn’t imagine life without our C3 family.

D.A. Schuster -

Prior to departing for Vietnam in 1964, I stopped to surprise my sister and to say goodbye (I was flying out the next day). She had a Bible study getting ready to begin. So that I would have the chance to talk to her afterwards, I attended the group as well. The study was on Romans and a term that I had never heard of or understood before - GRACE. Two months later, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and surrendered my life to Him - I am forever changed. In April of 2002, my wife Linda and I stopped in Johnstown, NY with the intent of just staying for the summer to visit some family, but much to our surprise, God had other plans...and we just never left.Through a co-worker, we were invited to CrossRoads in December of the year C3 had opened it’s doors and have been attending and serving ever since In any capacity that He leads! In January of 2016, the Lord took Linda home after her courageous battle with cancer.
