Paul Smith

Paul was born and raised in the Schenectady and Albany, NY area around a very supportive family. Paul grew up in church as a small child, but more than anything this was just a Sunday morning routine until early in college. Growing up, Paul’s identity was found mostly in heavy involvement in sports and musical theater (eventually receiving a degree in theater). Paul met his beautiful wife Georgie, as a sophomore in high school while performing at the historic Cohoes Music Hall. After finding Jesus and getting engaged, Paul and Georgie abandoned an early career in show business to serve God and have been heavily involved in ministry throughout their marriage and now at C3 . They currently live in Amsterdam with their two kids Shiloh-Anne and Easton-Phoenix. Paul leads the Men’s Community Group and helps lead the Ignite Teen ministry.

Paul Johnson

Paul was born in Jacksonville Florida but grew up in Salisbury, Maryland where his family went to a Southern Baptist Church.  He was saved at the age of 11 at a youth camp.  Moved back to Florida where he graduated from Sarasota High School.  A few years after graduating high school, he moved to Scotia, New York where he attended and served a s a trustee at First Baptist Church of Scotia.  Paul was working in the construction industry until 2001, when he then changed career paths to work at GE where he still is currently working.   He lives in Amsterdam with his wife Beth.  He enjoys golfing, hunting and travel but mostly he has a heart to serve our Lord.  While attending Crossroads, he has been an usher at the 9am service and has lead a community group.

Allan MacVean

Allan and Debbie grew up in Johnstown, NY and have been married since 1977. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. Allan was saved at age 8 and Debbie at age 18. Allan has his own financial planning business and Debbie consults in various nursing areas after working clinically for many years in oncology, intensive care, and obstetrics.
Allan and Debbie work in the church in various activities and functions including helping account for offerings and serving as greeters.

Dave Jordan

Dave was raised in Amsterdam and began attending Crossroads in 2019 with his wife, Wendy, who has since gone on to be with the Lord.  Although he grew up going to church, Dave did not accept Christ as his Savior until 2006 when he and Wendy were in a nurturing church community that fostered that relationship with God.  Dave has led several small groups at Crossroads for a couple of years before moving on to his new calling as Deacon.  Dave enjoys serving and helping others and works at the Montgomery County Office for Aging where he feels that he makes a real impact in the community.  He also truly enjoys spending time with his family, especially playing with his grandkids, Shiloh & Easton.
